Do I Have To?

Do I Have To?

Happy June everyone! My last day of school is tomorrow and then I’m onto my senior year of high school. I’m sad that I only have one year left of high school. I don’t know if you guys knew this but I love school, I think of knowledge as a gift. Everyone should appreciate it. I don’t want to have to start worrying more about college and all the money that I’m going to have to spend to live in the world. I hope that Senior year though is just at great as my Junior, hopefully better. I don’t want to leave these shallow halls that fill me up with knowledge and acceptance. I’m going to have to walk by new faces everyday, and raise my hand for a teacher I’ve never even spoke too. I don’t want my life to keep flying by so fast like it has been lately, but I have too. I have to do all of these things because that’s my life. No I don’t want to do these things but it should only lead me into much greater things. Sometimes to get to the sunny side you have to go through a little rain first.

Final Message: In life sometimes you have to go through struggle and challenges to get to where you want to be. It’ll all be worth it in the end though, and if it’s not, then it’s not the end.

If you have any advice for me on growing up and college that would be great! Thanks!

  1. Love this post! I just finished my first year of college and I feel as if I was only in 10th grade yesterday. It sucks how fast it all goes by, but all of the memories you make in the next few years will make it all worth while! Good luck! 💓

  2. I savored my senior year in high school. It was a special year. I took highly interesting courses that seemed to be above and beyond the ones I had before. I felt a feeling of accomplishment and knew I was ready for something even greater. University turned out to the the greatest time in my life. The freedom, the extra challenges, the new experiences.

I feel for young people that have to struggle to pay for college. I must confess that I was one of the lucky ones whose parents paid my full way. But I guess you could look at it this way, if you eventually pay for your college it will be one of the greater investments you will make in your life. That should inspire you to study as hard as you can and savor every minute of it.

      1. Oh, I hope so. Let it be a wonderful time of intellectual growth and fun. You are becoming an adult now. Early adult years are usually very special.
