Be Prepared

Apprentice – a person who is learning a trade from a skilled employer, having agreed to work for a fixed period at low wages.

“The apprenticeship of difficulty is one which the greatest of men have had to serve.” – Samuel Smiles

In order to get to the top of the mountain you have to learn from the experienced how to get there. You can’t just go out and start climbing because you won’t make it. You need to gain the certain knowledge first before you start something new. You need to be prepared, and it might take a lot of time but in the end you will be able to climb that mountain and get to the top. Don’t just jump into something expecting that you’re going to be successful in whatever it is you’re doing. Take those steps to learning from those who have the knowledge that you need in order to get where you want to go, and you will have success.

Is there a “mountain” that you’ve climbed or are trying to climb right now? Have you ever jumped into anything and it didn’t work out because you weren’t prepared? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for reading!!!

  1. Love this!! Read it twice! I am climbing a mountain now by changing my career. It means for me passing exams and lots of studying. But I plan to be persistent and work hard to get to where I want to go. 😊 No short cuts however there are so many rewards!
