For the daily prompt word I am going to be showing some quotes that have to do with the word swarm and then how I interpret them.
“What is not good for the swarm is not good for the bee.”
This quote just like any quote can be interpreted in a lot of ways. I think what it’s saying is that what is not good for a whole bunch of people can’t be good for just an individual. One thing that could affect the swarm could then affect the bee. Another way to interpret this is that one thing can affect a bunch of people.
“The fiercest serpent may be overcome by a swarm of ants.”
I think what this quote is saying that just because you’re fierce doesn’t mean you can handle everything in life. Just the little things can get you down sometimes. Another way to interpret it is that even if someone looks big and fierce they might not actually be as tough as they look.
“Cold hopes swarm like worms within our living clay.”
This quote to me is saying that when you have so many hopes and none of them are becoming a reality they just sit in the pit of your stomach and wait. When you hope something happens and it never does it just sits in the clay of your stomach like a worm waiting it to rain or something so that it can come out and be acknowledged.
I hope you enjoyed these quotes. Don’t be afraid to follow!
